There was a time in the not so distant past when North Park's beer scene left much to be desired. Fortunately, during those dark and desolate times the Live Wire stood to quench the thirst of beer enthusiasts searching for flavor and variety. Fortunately, the Live Wire continues to carry one of the finest beer selections in what has become one of San Diego's best neighborhoods for beer.

This longtime institution of cold beer and warm friends has teamed up with Karl Strauss Brewing Company for a special cask night on Monday November 11th. The evening will feature the onetime release SDBW Imperial Pale Ale brewed especially for San Diego Beer Week by Karl Strauss Head Brewer, Matt Walsh. Come one, come all and raise a glass to San Diego beer and the Live Wire; Cheers!
